Event Overview

Registration is now closed and we are looking forward to welcoming skaters soon. 

For those that pre-purchased practice ice credits, selection will open via EMS on Saturday September 12th at 9:00am Eastern Time (7:00am Mountain Time) and end on September 26th at 12:59pm ET (9:59pm MT). Open sales will begin on September 28^th 9am ET and continue throughout the competition.

PRACTICE ICE DETAILS: Sessions are restricted to different levels; If a session is not showing or you are not able to register for it on EMS it is not open for your level. The number of skaters will be limited on each session, but these limits will be monitored by the Chair daily and may be increased based on demand. If a session you are eligible for is full, check back later to see if more spots are added. We have a lot of practice ice available and there should be no need to go to other area rinks, as we will try and accommodate demand while still keeping practices safe and productive.

Practice Ice

Volunteer Opportunities: Volunteers play a crucial role in the success of the Broadmoor Fall Classic. We welcome individuals who are passionate about figure skating and want to contribute to the event. Volunteer opportunities include assisting with registration, helping skaters and coaches, managing practice ice sessions, and supporting the awards ceremonies.

Airport Information

Airport Information: Two airports are available for your travel convenience. The Colorado Springs Airport is very convenient with many direct and easy single connection routes and is about 15 minutes by car from The World Arena. The Denver International Airport is about 1 ½ hours by car. If you are arriving between 4-6 PM, please allow at least 2 hours travel time to Colorado Springs from Denver airport.

Local Restaurants

There are many options available near the World Arena including a snack bar in the lobby of the Ice Hall.  Starbucks, many fast-food options and several dine-in as well as grocery stores are just a few-minutes’ drive.
