1. RinkDay Service

RinkDay is software for figure skating coaches and invited families to manage lessons, schedules, rosters, communications, balances, reminders, and related rink-day operations. Some features may be in pilot, beta, preview, or limited-access release and may change as the service develops.

2. Eligibility And Authority

You must be able to form a binding agreement to use RinkDay. If you use RinkDay for a coaching business, organization, club, rink, household, or another person, you represent that you have authority to do so and to provide information on their behalf.

RinkDay is designed for adult coaches and parents or legal guardians. Children may not create accounts or use RinkDay directly unless a parent or legal guardian has provided any required authorization and supervises that use.

3. Accounts And Security

You agree to provide accurate account information, keep your credentials secure, and notify us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised. You are responsible for activity under your account, including invited users and family access links that you control.

4. Coach, Family, And Skater Content

You retain ownership of the information and content you enter into RinkDay, including rosters, schedules, messages, lesson details, notes, balance records, and profile information ("Customer Content"). You grant Gobez a limited license to host, process, transmit, display, and use Customer Content as needed to provide, secure, support, and improve RinkDay.

Coaches are responsible for having appropriate permission to add guardian, family, and skater information to RinkDay. Parents and guardians are responsible for the information they provide and for their own household account access.

5. Payments, Balances, And Coach Obligations

RinkDay may help coaches record charges, credits, payments, payment instructions, and balances. Unless a separate payment processor is clearly enabled, RinkDay does not process lesson payments, hold funds, issue refunds, or act as the merchant of record for coach services. Coaches remain responsible for their rates, billing practices, payment instructions, refunds, taxes, disputes, and compliance with applicable laws and rink or club rules.

6. Communications And Invitations

RinkDay may send account emails, invitation links, reset links, verification messages, balance reminders, schedule notices, product updates, and support communications. You agree not to misuse invitations, messages, or reminder tools, including by sending spam, harassing others, or contacting people without appropriate permission.

If you add a mobile number and opt in, notifications such as new-message alerts, lesson reminders, schedule changes, and balance reminders may be delivered by text message. Sign-in and password reset links are sent by email only. A one-time code is sent by text whether or not you opt in — to confirm a number belongs to you, and to sign you in if you choose to sign in by phone. Those codes are not part of the notification program above, so replying STOP does not stop them. Message frequency varies with your account activity, message and data rates may apply, and you can reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Opting out of texts does not affect your account access. An adult may also enter their own US or Canada mobile number on a public competition page and request transactional result alerts for that named competition. A whole-competition request sends one automated text. An event-specific request may cover up to five selected events or programs and sends no more than one automated text per selected item. The exact maximum appears beside the unchecked consent control before submission. No account, confirmation text, recurring subscription, or marketing reuse is part of the request. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Our handling of the number and consent record is described in our Privacy Policy.

RinkDay also lets a coach send an invitation from their own phone using their device's messaging app. When you send an invitation that way, you are the sender of that message, not RinkDay, and you are responsible for having permission to contact the recipient.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use RinkDay for unlawful, harmful, deceptive, abusive, or unauthorized purposes.
• Upload or send content that infringes rights, violates privacy, or is threatening, harassing, or discriminatory.
• Access another user's account, workspace, family information, or skater information without permission.
• Interfere with, disrupt, reverse engineer, scrape, overload, or attempt to bypass the security of RinkDay.
• Use RinkDay to build a competing service or resell access without our written permission.

8. Third-Party Services

RinkDay may integrate with or rely on third-party services such as hosting, authentication providers, email providers, analytics, observability, app stores, payment processors, or customer support tools. Third-party services may have their own terms and policies, and Gobez is not responsible for third-party services outside our control.

9. Intellectual Property

RinkDay, Gobez, and their names, logos, designs, software, documentation, and other materials are owned by Gobez or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any ownership rights in RinkDay or Gobez materials.

10. Availability And Changes

We may update, suspend, limit, or discontinue parts of RinkDay, including pilot or beta features. We try to keep RinkDay reliable, but we do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times.

11. Termination

You may stop using RinkDay at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if we believe you violated these Terms, created security or legal risk, misused the service, or if continued access would harm RinkDay or other users. Account closure may not immediately remove backups, audit logs, legal records, or information another authorized user is entitled to retain.

12. Disclaimers

RinkDay is provided "as is" and "as available" to the fullest extent permitted by law. Gobez disclaims all warranties, whether express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, availability, and accuracy.

13. Limitation Of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Gobez will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, loss of data, business interruption, or substitute services. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Gobez's total liability for claims relating to RinkDay will not exceed the greater of the amounts you paid to Gobez for RinkDay in the 12 months before the claim or 100 US dollars.

14. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Gobez from claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising from your use of RinkDay, your Customer Content, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of another person's rights or applicable law.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts located in Virginia will have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or RinkDay, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

16. Changes To These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will provide notice when appropriate. Continued use of RinkDay after updated Terms become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
