I. COMPETITION OVERVIEW

The 2026 Autumn Skate Fest will be conducted in accordance with the rules and regulations of U.S. Figure Skating, as set forth in the current rulebook , and/or current Compete USA handbook as well as any pertinent updates that have been posted on the U.S. Figure Skating website . The applicable rulebook and/or handbook is based on the date of competition. Coaches and skaters are responsible for ensuring they are using the correct version of the applicable program requirements.

This competition is open to all eligible, restricted, reinstated or readmitted persons as defined by the Eligibility Rules.

Skaters must be a currently registered member of a U.S. Figure Skating member club, Learn to Skate USA® member, a collegiate club or who is an individual member in accordance with the current rulebook. For non-U.S. citizens, please refer to the rulebook for more information.

SERIES INFORMATION: This competition is an approved TCFSA Compete USA Series Competition.

II. ELIGIBILITY

Singles Excel and Well Balanced Events :

• Skaters must meet at least the minimum singles test requirements for the event’s level. A skater’s singles test level may be higher than the minimum requirement.
• Skate Up: skaters may skate up one level higher than their highest singles test level allows.
• Skaters may not register for an event level lower than allowed by their competitive floor. An athlete’s competitive floor is set by one of the following scenarios:
• If an athlete has a paid EMS series application for the NQS series, the event level registered for in the most recent NQS will become the lowest level they may compete at in any U.S. Figure Skating sanctioned event.
• If an athlete has a paid EMS series application for the Excel Series, the event level registered for in the most recent Excel series will become the lowest level they may compete in any Excel event. For Well-Balanced and Specialty events the skater will be permitted to register at one level lower than the “floor” set by their excel series entry.
• If an athlete has never had a paid EMS series application in the NQS or Excel series, the athlete may select their level based on their goals and technical skills as long as the minimum test requirements are met.
• Skaters are not permitted to enter an Excel free skate and a Well-Balanced free skate event at the same competition (example: Juvenile Girls Free Skate and Juvenile Girls Excel Free Skate). However, they are permitted to enter an Excel and a Well-Balanced event of different types such as a short program (if stand-alone event option), specialty or showcase events

All other singles and partner events:

• Skaters must meet the minimum test requirements for the events level, but not exceed the maximum permissible test requirement.

COACHES

To be an eligible coach at a nonqualifying competition, coaches must meet the applicable compliance requirements and verified by U.S. Figure Skating. Coach compliance falls into two categories, Coach Compliance (includes choreographers) and Learn to Skate USA® Instructor Compliance. Details regarding compliance requirements can be found HERE . All compliance requirements must be met at the time of check-in to access the competition, no exceptions. Coaches of foreign athletes: If you are a coach of a foreign athlete only, you are not subject to U.S. Figure Skating coach compliance and will only be asked to provide a letter of good standing for the federation your athlete represents.

III. REGISTRATION INFORMATION

REGISTRATION: Online entry with secure credit card payment is supplied by the EntryEeze system. Upon receiving your application on-line, an e-mail will be sent to the skater’s coach to review the entry(ies) for accuracy, correct level and desired events. Additionally, an e-mail will be sent to the skater’s home club official to certify the skater’s standing within the club. Entries must be received by 11:59 pm Sunday, October 4 ^th , 2026 . Events with a single entrant will be conducted in accordance with U.S. Figure Skating Rule 3055; affected skaters will be contacted with the available options. Entries may close early if we reach maximum capacity but we will maintain a wait-list in case of cancellations to be utilized at the discretion of the chief referee.

Late entries will be accepted only at the discretion of the Competition Chief Referee and must be accompanied by a $25.00 late fee.

Test credit: $25 and Practice ice will be $20 per practice session

Please note that your coach is required to approve your application. Her/His approval verifies your level of competition and the events you are competing in. Home Club officer signature is required to validate that you are in good club standing and to certify the information included on your form. Your coach and designated home club officer will receive an email asking for approval.

In the event a skater has signed up for an incorrect level or event after the October 4 ^th deadline, the chief referee must approve all changes. A charge will be made for correcting mistakes made after an application has been submitted and a $25 change/add fee.

TEST CREDIT:

Skaters who meet the requirements for test credit and who would like to request Test Credit must request, complete and return the test credit form at the registration desk. Completed forms must be picked up at the registration desk prior to the end of the competition. Test Credit requests will be assessed a $25 fee. Once the judging for the final IJS event in the competition is complete, applications for Test Credit can no longer be submitted/accepted.

MUSIC SUBMISSION/UPLOAD:

ALL SKATERS MUST SUBMIT MUSIC ELECTRONICALLY VIA ENTRYEEZE . Competition music for all events that require music must be submitted electronically via EntryEeze by the music deadline of 11:59 pm on November 1 ^st , 2026. After you have paid for your events, the system will prompt you to upload your music for each event that requires music. If your music is not available at that time, you can logout of your account and return later to upload your music by going to the “competition” tab and then selecting “my music”. All music uploads must be in .MP3 format. CDs will only be used as BACKUP for technical difficulty. A duplicate CD should be readily available in case of any problems with upload. Music downloaded for the competition will be deleted after the event is complete

Competitors must also have available a backup copy of their competition music on a cell phone and it must be immediately available rinkside whenever the skater competes. If the phone does not have the standard round headset connector, an appropriate adapter, such as an Apple Lightning connector or Samsung USB-C adapter is required to be attached. The phone should be presented to the music person with the file ready to play, phone in airplane mode and volume turned to maximum.

If music is not submitted by the deadline of 11:59pm on November 1st, there will be a $35 late fee that must be paid prior to or at the time of on-site registration in order for the skater to receive their credentials.

PLANNED PROGRAM CONTENT (PPC) SUBMISSION/UPLOAD – FOR IJS EVENTS ONLY:

All competitors skating in these events need to submit the planned program content form online, using our online registration system (EntryEeze). Paper submissions will NOT be accepted. The deadline for PPC submission is 11:59 pm on November 1 ^st , 2026.

If planned program content is not submitted by the deadline of 11:59pm on November 1st, there will be a $35 late fee that must be paid prior to or at the time of on-site registration in order for the skater to receive their credentials.

REFUND POLICY

Full refunds, minus the online convenience fee, are available if withdrawal is prior to CLOSE OF ENTRIES – 11:59 pm Sunday, October 4 ^th , 2026. After CLOSE OF ENTRIES, refunds are only available if the event is not held due to lack of entries. There will be NO medical refunds given. The online transaction fee is not refundable for any reason.

LIABILITY :

U.S. Figure Skating, Learn to Skate USA®, Burnsville-Minnesota Valley Figure Skating Club and Burnsville Ice Center accept no responsibility for injury or damage sustained by any participant in this competition. This is in accordance with Rule 1600 of the official U.S. Figure Skating Rulebook.

IV. COMPETITION DETAILS

FACILITIES :

The competition will be held at the Burnsville Ice Center located at 251 Civic Center Parkway, Burnsville, Minnesota 55337. Rinks are 200’ x 85’. Admission is free. Competition will be held at the Gary Harker Arena or Rink 2, both located at the Burnsville Ice Center.

LOCKER ROOMS:

Locker Rooms and changing areas will not be available at this competition. All athletes are expected to arrive at the arena ready (costumes, hair, make-up etc.). Athletes will be provided with an area to put skaters on. Restrooms may be used to change costumes.

U.S. Figure Skating Travel Policy:

All travel must strictly adhere to Two-Deep Leadership requirements. An Adult Participant cannot transport a Minor Athlete one-on-one and Two-Deep Leadership requirements must be adhered to at all times during In-Program travel, by transporting at least two minors or a second Adult Participant. An Adult Participant cannot share a hotel room or other sleeping arrangement with a Minor Athlete(s). Full details of the SkateSafe® Travel Policy and any exceptions can be found starting on page 12 of the SkateSafe® Handbook .

OFFICIAL WEBSITE & UPDATES:

The competition website is located on EntryEeze or at https://bmvfsc.clubexpress.com/asf . It is the responsibility of each competitor, parent and coach to check the website frequently for any schedule changes and/or additional information pertaining to the competition.

RESULTS : All event results will be posted online as soon as possible following completion of each event.

SCHEDULE:

The competition will run Friday, November 6 ^th – Sunday, November 8 ^th , 2026. Competitors may be scheduled on any day or time during these dates. The competition and practice ice schedule will be available after the close of entries. All participants will be notified via email once available.

PRACTICE ICE:

Official practice ice is not being offered, but practice ice will be available for pre-purchase on-line with registration as well as after the schedule has been posted and will be sold on a first-come basis. Skater’s music will not be played during practice sessions. A maximum of 18 skaters will be scheduled on practice ice. Unsold practice ice may be purchased at the Registration Desk on a first-come basis. Practice ice is $20 per 20-minute session.

ONSITE CHECK-IN:

Check-in will open on Friday, November 6 ^th , starting at 6:30 am in the Harker Rink of the Burnsville Ice Center.

If you are participating in a role requiring compliance, please be sure to download or print your compliance card to verify your compliance status on-site, if requested. If you believe your compliance card does not accurately reflect your compliance status, please contact skatesafe@usfigureskating.org at least 2 business days prior to the competition for assistance.

AWARDS:

Awards will be presented to all competitors in Compete USA events and Aspire 1-4 events. All other events, awards will be presented to skaters placing 1 ^st – 4 ^th . The awards will be presented to competitors (in Harker arena) immediately following the official result posting. Results will be posted online via EntryEeze.

PHOTO/VIDEO :

Each competitor will receive 1 free photograph download as their competition gift. Additional photos will be available for purchase. Perkins Media will be the official photographer/videographer for Autumn Skate Fest Competition. Note, per U.S. Figure Skating policy, photographing and/or recording of anyone other than your own skater is strictly prohibited.

OFFICIAL NOTICES:

Official announcements will be maintained near the registration desk. It is the responsibility of each competitor, parent and coach to check for announcements frequently for any additional information. Skaters are requested to arrive 30 minutes prior to the scheduled time of their event. A schedule of events and staging area assignments will be posted prior to the competition. Please arrive dressed for your event. Spectator information will be posted before the event.
