What We Publish

A competitor appears as the name and club printed on the official result for an event — exactly as the source published them, not as we would normalize them. Alongside that: the placement, the scores as recorded, and the event the result belongs to.

The "On the podium" row on our homepage and the season-leaders panel are drawn from those same published results. Each card is one placement at one event, and it links back to the results page it came from.

What We Deliberately Do Not Publish

• No skater directory. There is no page per person, no browsable index of competitors, and no way to search this site for a child by name.
• Nothing aggregated across events. No career totals, no personal bests, no medal counts, no all-time rankings. A result is a fact about one competition, and we keep it that way.
• No photographs of unclaimed competitors. Where a picture would go, we show initials. A photo only ever appears on a profile its own subject has claimed.
• No attention ranking. We do not compute "trending skaters", and the leaders panel is scoped to a single current season at the senior level rather than ranking everyone who competes.

Reading Is Anonymous

Every public page on this site is served the same to everyone. There is no account, no sign-in, no cookie, and no session behind these pages, so we do not build a record of who read about whom.

Asking Us To Change Something

Write to privacy@rinkday.com with a link to the page and what is wrong. Two kinds of request are routine, and neither requires a reason:

• A correction. If a name, club, or result is wrong on our page, tell us and we will fix or remove it. Where the error is in the official record, we will say so and point you to whoever published it.
• Suppression. A skater — or the parent or guardian of a minor — can ask us to stop showing them. Suppression removes that person from the results pages, the podium row, and the leaders panel together; it is a single decision, not a per-page one.

Cached copies of a page can survive a short time after a change. Removal reaches our own pages within minutes; search engines and other people's copies are outside our control, though we will tell you what we know about them.
